As a sought-after consultant for high-growth organizations and teams, Stephen has been named one of Canada's Top 100 Professionals for 2023.
He began his business career with The Boston Consulting Group in the 1990s, serving Fortune 500 and global equivalent firms before becoming Vice President of Corporate Development for TMX Group (when its value increased over 400%), then co-founding and running an ed-tech startup which attracted over a million users and won several industry awards.
Stephen leveraged his executive experience into a return to consulting with the Business Development Bank of Canada's Growth Driver Program for High-Impact Firms, before co-founding Framework and Rimrock Advisory Boards.
He holds a Ph.D. in Social and Political Sciences from Cambridge, a Joint Honours BA in Economics and Political Science from McGill, and the Family Enterprise Advisor (FEA) designation, the global standard for ethical and advisory practice in serving business families.
Stephen has taught at Harvard, Cambridge, and the University of Calgary. He is co-author (with Karissa Price) of the forthcoming Why Is a Verb: How Well-Managed Teams Turn Purpose Into Productivity (2023), and will be speaking at TEDxUAlberta 2023.

Over three decades advising large enterprises, VC/startups and senior executives/CEOs, Peter has established a stellar reputation as a sought-after change management consultant, innovation driver, and coach.
His international clientele has included blue chip US firms such as Cisco and Target, Big 5 Canadian banks, public sector entities and others. His engagements range from operational reconfigurations to wholesale cultural transformation to leadership skill development.
Peter has emerged as a thought leader in the practical application of Lean/Agile techniques— business learning in small increments—that lie at the core of 21st century value creation. In addition to mentoring incubators and startups, he has developed and delivered training materials for the Queen’s School of Business and Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson).
His certifications as an Agile Certified Practitioner by the Project Management Institute (PMI) and a Yellow Belt by the Disciplined Agile Consortium are complemented by his designation as an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) by the gold-standard International Coaching Federation and Co-Active Coach by the Co-Active Training Institute.
Peter holds an Honours Bachelor of Mathematics in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo.
